Okay! I'm back from my blogging vacation! Much to catch up on -okay maybe not so much, but here's the latest...
The girls both did a fabulous job in their Christmas dance performances at The Festival of Trees! Typically afterwards we enjoyed the kids crafts and fun area as well as looking around at the trees.

We had the pleasure of shoveling the driveway a few times :).
There was a special visitor to Micaela's Pre-school Christmas party!
~ And Sky got to meet him for the first time. ~Christmas was spent with all my family together which of course is a tremendous gift in itself and was SO fun and memorable!
~ Caela got to play Mary for the first time ~
~ Lexi was our jubilant angel :) ~
~ And Sky was a wanabe shepherd ~
-or sheep- It was great to spend some time with Steve's family also on the return trip.
Then shortly after settling back in at home Sky decided exploring would be faster on two feet.
So at just nine and a half months (like his sister Caela) he started walking. He turned ten months this week and is now a walking pro, has a mouthful of teeth (4 top 2 bottom), can get up and down the stairs no problem, gives Mommy kisses, waved to us the other day and the babysitters (our wonderful home teachers) told us he was asking for "Ma-ma-ma"!
Boy, how we love this happy little love bug!

I saw your blog on Candace's blog...hope you don't mind. The kids are growing up so fast! They are darling. I can't believe Skylar has gotten so big and is walking. I'm glad you are all doing so well.

I canNOT believe he is walking already! Summer is getting close... she can take up to about 6 steps at a time, but it will still be a while before she's up on two feet all the time. He's such a cutie! Glad I finally got to meet him!! :) And I love the girls in their dance outfits. So cute! :)
Skylar's Dad was a very early walker also. Late talker, early walker. He's been going ever since. Loved your pictures. Love you!

Cute pics...sure miss you guys! Wish I could be there for Sky's 1-year birthday, but looks like Kristi and I will be San Francisco instead.

I'm glad you commented on my blog so I could find yours! Although you're a couple months behind, you're no where near as pathetic as I am!
I can't believe how big your kiddos are getting!!! It doesn't seem like that long ago since we saw them, but I guess it's been longer that I thought! They're all adorable--and Sky looks like a little angel. I hope we get to see you guys soon!
I love Festival of Trees; your girls actually danced there. Ed and I were involved in it for about three years. Seeing your children grow up and little Skye is walking is amazing. The Christmas eve night looked awesome.
